Ever since my first trip to Boracay in 2005, I will always associate summer on the island with Nestea, a leading iced tea brand in the Philippines, because of Nestea Beach, one of the most anticipated beach events in the country that has been happening around Labor Day weekend way before #LaBoracay even came to our consciousness (and social media). It was my first Labor Day on the island, too, and watching the Nestea Beach Volleyball games and partying after were the highlights of my first ever Boracay trip.

Now on its 18th run, this year’s Nestea Beach event in Boracay from April 30 to May 3, 2015 offers an exciting line up of activities that goes beyond the iconic Nestea Refresh Beach Volleyball Competition. Besides the intercollegiate beach volleyball competition, they will also hold the first-ever Nestea Beach Volleyball Fantasy Match, where today’s star volleyball players will battle it out on the sand. Those on the shores of Boracay for Labor Day weekend will also see the refresh lounges, beach parties, and beach clean-up—so they can experience summer in Boracay the way they want it. Read on for more details about each.
1. Watch the new Nestea Beach Volleyball Fantasy Match.
A total of eight top volleyball players in the country, including Gretchen Ho, will compete and participate in the Fantasy Match that will take place on May 1 and 2 in front of Boracay Beach Chalets.
2. Chill out in Nestea Beach’s refresh lounge.
The lounges in front of Beachcomber (Station 1) and Le Soleil de Boracay (Station 2) will offer free Nestea drinks and a refresh mobile charging station for relaxing and lounging moments with friends. There will also be paraw sailing and beach massages that consumers can avail with every purchase of the NESTEA Beach All-Access Band or a NESTEA Beach Pitcher. It’s definitely the best way to chill amidst all the LaBoracay festivities.

3. Attend Nestea Beach’s parties.
Nestea Beach kicks off with the Nestea Summer Plunge Party on April 30 at Tides Roofdeck, with beats from some of the hottest names in the party scene like DJ Nina, DJ Ludwig Van Beat, and DJ Ron Poe. The opening party will be followed by the exciting Nestea Secret Party on May 1 at an exclusive soon-to-be-revealed location. To get special passes to the party, guests should retweet the #NESTEASecretparty event invite posted by @NESTEAph on Twitter.
Meanwhile, the Nestea Plunge Party on May 2 and 3, in partnership with Valkyrie, will serve as the grand celebration and culmination of Nestea Beach 2015. It will be a refreshing beach party with mixes from top international DJs Sander Van Doorn and Knife Party at the Epic Beachfront. Watch out for hottie Daniel Matsunaga in all these parties, too!
4. Join the beach clean up!
After all the revelry, make it up to the island by joining Nestea Beach’s Love the Beach Boracay clean up on May 2. You may also donate to the cause: For every NESTEA pitcher that will be sold during LaBoracay, part of the proceeds will go to the coral reef restoration project of Boracay Foundation Inc.

How to get access to all these activities
