I’ve had this attention-grabbing bag for years, and I thought of giving it a fitting tribute before I retire it.

Every time I use this black structured bag made of woven native materials with a wooden handle and mother of pearl accent, I would get compliments for it. Everyone seems to think it’s a designer bag, like an Aranaz or something, like a bag this pretty has to be expensive. It’s not. Well, it wasn’t cheap either. It cost somewhere between P1,500 and P2,500, I forget—I’ve had it since 2010, I think. And now, it’s time to bid it goodbye. It served me well.
I got this bag on one trip to Boracay, and it caught my eye for its shape, structure, and elegant style. I’m a shoulder bag kind of girl, but once in a while, I’d use this to work whenever it matches my outfit. I load it with so much stuff, too. It’s a good thing it’s pretty sturdy, although over time it succumbed to the weight and incurred a tear.
So, what exactly do I stash in my bag? A lot of daily essentials, and of course my overloaded makeup kit.
Speaking of my makeup kit, I haven’t had the chance to tell you, but I’m currently crazy about the makeup line of Celeteque—yes, they have makeup now, in case you didn’t know, and the line is called DermoCosmetics. Remember that Celeteque is primarily a skincare line, so yes, DermoCosmetics actually fuses makeup with skincare! It’s pretty amazing.

It offers the best of both worlds: skincare solutions and superior cosmetics that highlight one’s natural beauty. Celeteque DermoCosmetics offers a full skincare regimen for the face, lips, cheeks, and eyes that protect the skin 24/7, making it the best makeup line for everyday use. It has two collections:
The Céleteque DermoCosmetics Anti-Aging line has all the bases covered for a youthful look: Dual CC Matte Powder (P749), Dark Spot Concealer Stick (P595), and 24-hr Photoready Foundation (P795) that promise to keep your skin young-looking.
The Celeteque DermoCosmetics Nourishing line, on the other hand, has products that care for and nourish even the more sensitive parts of our face. For the eyes, it has the Eyebrow Nourishing Serum (P595) as well as the 24-hour Volumizer Mascara (P645). Also part of the line are the Cheek Color Stick (P645), Matte Lip Stick (P595), and Blush and Face Contour Kit (P845) that liven up the face with vivid colors while bringing out skin’s radiant glow.
Each Céleteque DermoCosmetics product plays up our features while providing hydration and protection from harsh elements, long-wearing coverage, illumination, and color, while taking care of the skin throughout the day. Just like Céleteque DermoScience’s skincare favorites, Céleteque DermoCosmetics products are dermatologist-tested, hypoallergenic, and clinically-proven, ensuring that skin is healthy at all times.
