After creating two big lifestyle websites for two major brands, it's time I created my own lifestyle website and launch myself as a brand. NAKS! Haha.

…I just had to start my own blog.

One of the things I miss about my old job (yes, there would always be things we’d miss about our past jobs) is my monthly blog/column–that one time each month when I can write as me (not as an editor/writer sharing the latest lifestyle or relationship updates to female readers) and about me, always within the context of the brand, though. I enjoyed it immensely, especially since my blog posts then always seemed to have more comments than my regular articles. It was exhilarating, heart-warming, and just simply amazing to touch the lives and hearts of readers that way. I can’t really put the exquisite feeling completely into words.

Or, maybe I can. In several words, in fact, that would form this blog. In this online space, I get to be really ME. Well, I often get to do that on Twitter (follow me @trixiereyna) or occasionally Facebook, but that’s edited–at least for length. I can never fully say what I really mean in just 160 characters–can you? So, for times when the character limit fails me, I shall blog. I’ve missed touching the lives of readers THAT way, and I want to get back to doing that.

I often blogged about relationships in my column in the website I used to handle, and occasionally, I shall try to do so again in this space–in a subsection of my blog I’ll call Me Time, which shall contain all my musings, reflections, bitching, realizations, and everything in between. But, I shall also write about my experience and love for beauty, fashion, food, travel, and other things that make life fun! At the end of the day, that’s what’s at the core of this blog: I just want to have fun writing, taking my own photos, documenting all the blessings this wonderful life has to offer (and the occasional curses, hurdles, if you will, that give it texture and make it interesting).

So, yeah, that’s pretty much the point of this blog. Pardon me, it’s still a work in progress–my current job (as editor-in-chief of Kristn.com) keeps me preoccupied much of the time. But once I get my groove on, you’ll find loads of things here that I hope will interest you, too.

Okay, I think I’ve procrastinated enough. Time to get back to what I should really be doing now: editing articles for Kristn.com, haha. Good night!
