Butterfly Pea Lemonade Cold Brew and Tahitian Vanilla Macchiato
Purple hue in your Cold Brew
This season, Starbucks Philippines serves up striking, color-changing, beautifully layered coffee beverages featuring unique fusions of Signature Espresso and surprising ingredients like butterfly pea flower tea and Tahitian vanilla.
The newest Butterfly Pea Lemonade Cold Brew is a refreshing thirst-quencher that will bring you an eye-catching surprise: The espresso beverage combines butterfly pea flower tea, a popular ingredient in Southeast Asian cuisine renowned for its natural blue hue and mesmerizing color changing properties, with tangy lemonade and the deep notes of smooth Starbucks Cold Brew. Besides the pretty color and captivating swirls produced as the tea reacts with the lemonade, I’m excited to try how the lemonade will complement my favorite cold brew coffee. This drink is available in iced format only.
Meanwhile, the fan-favorite Tahitian Vanilla Macchiato is also returning for a limited time. This coffee-forward beverage combines aromatic, caramelly Tahitian Vanilla syrup and velvety steamed milk, topped with Starbucks Signature Espresso, vanilla bean specks, and a drizzle of vanilla syrup in a classic double crosshatch pattern. This beverage is available in hot, iced, and Frappuccino blended beverage formats.
Both drinks are available in Tall (P165), Grande (P180), and Venti (P195) sizes.
Mark Cherry Blossom season with your tumblers
Whether or not you’re seeing cherry blossoms in person this season, wouldn’t it be perfect to enjoy your coffee in a pretty tumbler or mug with this design? This year, Starbucks welcomes spring season (even if we don’t have it in PH, heehee) with limited-edition merchandise featuring design elements inspired by the cherry blossom night viewing tradition and the blushing cherry blossom. This captivating collection will include a selection of mugs, tumblers, water bottles, and other merchandise in two design themes: a lovely pink petal design against the midnight backdrop and petal-inspired embellishments in a blushing pink blossom theme.
Pretty sweet treats to pair with coffee
Starbucks also launched today three new food items I can’t wait to sample: the Midnight Dream Cake, Chocolate Doughnut Eclair, and Mango Purple Yam Bar. They all seem perfect for pairing with refreshing Starbucks beverages for a mid-afternoon energy boost during your coffee break.
What I’m really excited to try is the Mango Purple Yam Bar (P85), a dense and chewy butterscotch bar with mango bits and purple yam. I love how Starbucks is really capitalizing on purple yam for their desserts!
The Midnight Dream Cake (P165/slice, P1,480/whole) has layers of moist and chewy fudge brownie, light vanilla sponge cake, crunchy hazelnut paste, and velvety milk chocolate mousse, topped with dark chocolate glaze. Meanwhile, the Chocolate Doughnut Eclair (P85) is basically a doughnut filled with luscious cream and milk chocolate.
