hail caesar wrap

Hail Caesar wrap

Ever since I discovered SaladStop!—known for its high-quality, fresh salads, wraps, and hearty snacks—last year, I couldn’t get enough of their Hail Caesar salad and wrap. It’s made of Romaine lettuce, shaved parmesan, grated eggs, croutons, bacon bits, and Classic Caesar dressing, and I usually order it with chicken add-on. It’s so delicious and filling, I almost forget I’m eating something really good for me and which complements my weightloss goals.

Coleen Garcia 1

Did you know this also happens to be actress Coleen Garcia’s favorite? And with that enviable bod of hers, I’d definitely have what she’s having! Coleen is among SaladStop!’s Eat Wide Awake movers—fit and strong individuals who are known advocates of the healthy lifestyle, which also include host Raymond Gutierrez, host and marathon enthusiast Kim Atienza, volleyball player Michele Gumabao, and celebrity trainer Coach Arnold Aninion. All of them promote the value of conscious eating and keeping a well-balanced lifestyle.

With healthy-living and wellness at the top of our to-do lists—or at least, hope-to-do lists—SaladStop!’s “Eat Wide Awake Movement” comes as timely as ever. SaladStop! hopes to help individuals maintain a healthy diet and encourage a devotion to fitness with month-long promos and fun activities at its first-ever celebration of Salad Month this September. It’s also introducing two new featured items in its stores this month: Ting Tong salad and wrap and Yeobo Yeobo warm grain bowl.

SaladStop 2

Ting Tong salad

Ting Tong is a fun and delicious mix of romaine lettuce, cajun shrimp, vermicelli, ripe mango, pomelo, cherry tomatoes, snow peas, shredded coconut, roasted peanuts, and Thai Peanut Turmeric dressing. This new yummy variant is available starting September 3. I was able to sample it at SaladStop!’s campaign launch, and I love how it’s sweet and spicy at the same time. The cajun shrimp is also deliciously savory.

Oh Crab Lah! Wrap

This just might be my third favorite item from SaladStop! The second after Hail Caesar is Oh Crab Lah! Wrap, made of Romaine lettuce, crab sticks, grated eggs, vermicelli, cherry tomatoes, red onions, croutons, and sweet-spicy Singapore Chili Crab dressing.

Yeobo Yeobo warm grain bowl

Available on the menu starting September 17 is the Yeobo Yeobo warm grain bowl, made with baby spinach, quinoa, roasted chicken, eggs, sweet corn, alfalfa sprouts, edamame, and Korean Chili vinaigrette.

Now with 10 stores (I really hope they open one in Iloilo City soon!), SaladStop! encourages diners to keep Eating Wide Awake by offering healthy, real alternatives to their usual meals. Customers have a choice between creating their own salad or wrap with over 60 ingredients and 17 signature dressings, or choose from the selection of 10 Signature salads and wraps. SaladStop! makes us actually want and enjoy eating salads.

Strawberry Banana Muesli

Besides salads, it also serves healthy sweet treats like the Strawberry Banana Muesli, which has rolled oats, Greek yogurt, milk, chia seeds, and fruit toppings; as well as Chocolate Chia Pudding, made of chocolate, banana, strawberry, chia seeds, soy milk, and coconut cream.

For drinks, try their Cold Pressed Juices made of red cabbage, apple, and watermelon, or with apple, pineapple, orange, cucumber, and carrots. You can taste both fruits and vegetables in these refreshing drinks that are best served ice-cold.
