I also decided to use this bag in memory of Burt’s Bees co-founder and namesake Burt Shavitz, who recently passed away (RIP).
Not only is this Event’s Week for me and my colleagues in publishing, it’s also Deadlines Week for me, so to manage turning in all my work on time without missing any of the events I’m invited to, I have to bring my laptop with me at all times.
So this week, I chose to use this structured canvas tote Burt’s Bees gave members of the media during the opening of their first stand-alone store in Estancia, Capitol Commons (read about it here). My 11-inch Macbook air (in its sleeve) fits perfectly, and there’s enough room for all the other things I bring with me daily. Plus, I love its “B” and flower charms and its many nifty pockets.
The only thing I had to simplify is my makeup kit; I carefully choose the products I use on my face now, and I make sure to put on most of my makeup before I leave the house so I only need to bring retouch essentials.
PROMO ALERT: You can actually get this same bag FREE if you have and completed all five stamps on the Bee Loyal card at Burt’s Bees Estancia! It even comes with free beauty goodies! Promo is ongoing until August 15, 2015.
