Since my daily eye makeup look is all about cat-eyes and defined brows—I rarely wear eye shadow—it’s important to have the right products to help me achieve this easily daily and keep it intact all day. After over a decade of trying various brands of eyeliner and brow products, I’ve finally found one of the best brands: K-Palette.
I’ve been using K-Palette for two years now, and while they have a wide range of cosmetics that include not just various eyeliners and brow products, but also mascara, concealer, and blush, the two products I really swear by, hoard, use, and tell all my friends about are these two: K-Palette Lasting 2Way Eyebrow Pencil 24h and K-Palette 1Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner 24h WP.
The following is not really a review, but more of me just telling you how I use these products and why I’ve stuck to them all these years, going back to them when I’m done reviewing other products. To those who have been asking me what eyeliner and brow product to try, look no further.
K-Palette Lasting 2Way Eyebrow Pencil 24h, P795
Comes in three shades: 101 Light Brown, 102 Natural Brown, 103 Grayish Brown
I’ve been using Light Brown (above) the past few months to match my hair color and lighten my features, but soon I will switch to Natural Brown (below), since I had my hair color darkened recently.
It’s great for giving you natural-looking, well-groomed, and well-shaped brows, all in one stick. Its long-lasting formula makes both the pencil and powder resistant against water, sebum, and sweat, keeping your eyebrows looking beautiful all day long. I may skip eyeliner when I go swimming, but the kilay remains, haha (see before and after swimming photo below)!
On one end you have the retractable-type pencil, so there’s no need to sharpen. I use this first to draw, shape, and define my brows. I fill in gaps on the thicker part of my brow, following the direction of hair, up to the tip. The pigmented pencil glides smoothly onto skin and delivers precise yet subtle lines that look natural.
103 Grayish Brown
Then I use the soft and translucent powder on the other end for my finishing touch, shading using the pencil guides for an even more natural-looking, well-shaped brows.
Used both pencil and powder in 101 Light Brown shade in the photo above
The 2Way Eyebrow Pencil is so easy to use and one stick lasts over two months with daily use. (In my experience, the pencil is always the first to run out.)
K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner 24h WP, P795
Comes in two shades: Deep Brown and Super Black
I use the Super Black (photo above) all the time, although I’ve experimented with the Deep Brown in the past to create softer lines.
What I really love about this eyeliner is its intense, more pigmented color, like a permanent marker. Plus, it has a long-lasting, fast-drying formula that’s tough against water, sebum, and sweat. Its fine brush is easy to use, to draw, and apply. It’s easy to remove and wash off, too. I use a cream type makeup remover first, then wash my face with facial foam to make sure all traces are removed.
Shake the pen a few times with the tip facing down before use for a more vivid color. Then just draw on your upper lash line, easily controlling the thickness of the line—it’s great for creating my favorite cat-eye, going easily from fine to thick lines. Don’t use this to line your lower lashline.
K-Palette recently renewed this top-selling eyeliner’s formula with even more gentle, beautifying ingredients that care for skin around your eyes and lashes, helping strengthen and grow the latter.
K-Palette is exclusively available at Beauty Bar branches nationwide (check out the latest news about Beauty Bar here); Rustan’s The Beauty Source in Shangri-La Plaza, Makati, and Alabang Town Center; and soon in selected Watsons branches. It’s exclusively distributed by Beauty Box Corp.
